Our team is having a wonderful time learning to deepen our dependence on God in order to say yes to His vision to take the love of His Son Jesus Christ out to the streets in downtown Shelton, WA! We recognize it is only by God’s grace that we can lead others towards Him and the transformation He can do. We are grateful to grow together in Him through this ministry. Please let us know if you are being called towards street ministry. Let us share, pray & be encouraged by one another as His body~ to joyfully serve the One whose love went all the way to the cross for us!

I have been a faithful believer in Jesus Christ since 2008. My personal struggles with trauma, mental health, and addiction made me very aware of God’s constant presence in my life since a young age. Despite my sin and the sins of others He has always been my protection and source of unconditional love.  I thank the Lord daily that as a result of opening my heart to Him and accepting His love, my children have also come to know their Creator and their purpose in this world. It is in great joy that we get to share the  freedom and transformation that Jesus brought into our lives.

“We have been crucified with Christ and we no longer live, but Christ lives in us. The life we now live in the body, we live by faith in the Son of God, who loved us and gave himself for us,” Gal 2:20

Having  seen the struggles of addiction and mental illness growing up, first hand, I am blessed He has led me to serve with Crazy Love Ministries.  As I submit and trust the path the Lord has laid out for me, I am thankful.  Thankful for the work He is doing in me, for the peace and comfort He has shown me and the grace to continue stepping forward in faith, reaching out to others in need and following His light.   

Whatever you do in word or deed, do all in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks through Him to God the Father.” Colossians 3:17

Has been a volunteer since 2020.

At the age of 28 I became aware of my desires to help others. God has always provided more than enough for me. At that time, I decided it was single parents I could give to.
I opened a daycare and took on helping the low-income world. In addition to providing 3 daily meals and 2 snacks to the daycare children and their parents(s) I took additional food to these families. Many of the children I helped care for had parents struggling with addiction. I then had the opportunity to foster twin boys which allowed me to see the full effects of parental addiction.
This is the course God put me on that  led me to serving with Crazy Love Ministries. I’m thankful I can continue feeding the needy and intervening for the addicts in our communities through the efforts of this ministry.
 
“How does God’s love abide in anyone who has the world’s goods and sees a brother or sister in need yet refuses to help? Little children, let us love not in words, but in truth and action.” 1 John 3:17-18

Has been a volunteer since 2022.

My husband, Rick and I have a heart for fellow humans, particularly for those experiencing homelessness. We have both been following Jesus for over fifty years and through our Bible reading and study we came to believe that there is no more important ministry every Christian can do than being Jesus’ hands and feet to a world that needs Him. Crazy Love does the boots‐on‐the‐ground work that I believe God calls us all to do: Serve Him and serve others. I am honored to be apart of this organization as treasurer.

I have been a strong follower of Jesus Christ since 1-16-1958, the day of my baptism which I remember very clearly. Like most I have stumbled and fallen, but have always picked myself up and gotten back on track through the strength, love and forgiveness of our Lord Jesus Christ. My top goal is to grow in the love of Christ as Christ would have us love. I am looking forward to expanding this journey with my clm family as a director of Crazy Love Ministries (Jun 2, 2022).
